Ah, really like this one. First of all, thanks for the reviews. I'm returning the favor hehe. I see an allusions... I think. The one I think I know is one, is the reference to the Piper's dreamland. Think the tale went with the piper leading rats away from a town. Really liked that stanza, as well as the first stanza of the poem. The ending has a heavy impact as well. Brilliant piece of work here.

I like the last line, "And yet we set our goals, Set standards we can't meet, but who holds the right to questioning, the ultimate deceit"

Something about it, it seems to fit perfectly, describing the human race wonderfully
