Very interesting. How I hate not breathing...but that's reality. The similes of Satan are a litte much; not breathing is a quiet, unshouting way to die or suffer. However, that serves your purpose nicely here to create the story of the angel and non-rescue (so sad!), and also the horror. Good rhythm, and the going into repetition at the end is nice. The last line is pointed.
