Anyway, this was a good story overall. I figured some people would have an issue with the religious references, but you seemed to pull it off all right and I don't recall any reviews with complaints. GrannyP 2007-12-06 ch 11,	abuseOkay, I read the other reviews on this chapter to make sure I wouldn't be restating what I think the metaphors in this story are. I am totally into dream interpretation, so I know that these things must be symbolic, even if I am completely wrong... So I agree with that one person that the tollbooth is like the minister man guiding her forward so she continues to grow and won't keep trying to go back to her past. At the beginning, she is happy in the familiar place which is like her youth. Then she goes to the waterpark. This is like starting to date a guy... She gets on the biggest slide (meaning she is like, falling very hard for a guy) but then she falls off (getting out of the relationship before it is fully developed). And she is terrified of the situation because sex is always involved (condoms in the water). Fortunately, she has her fantasies to fall back on (seeing the princesses on the bridge with the people who save her). But then suddenly she is in a field. This is symbolic of her "planting the seeds" for other people's relationships.. like Aubrey and Chase/Hillary. Meanwhile, she's holding onto her own childhood for dear life (the movie) because she's not ready to plant the seeds for herself. Okay.. the costume part is a bit confusing to me.. maybe this is saying that everyone is just playing a role or everyone else is getting all the good things in life, and Abby is just left sitting out to watch. So the Evil Witch and Snow White.. I can't figure them out. But maybe Mike is really the Prince Charming because he turns down these things that so many other people seem to be after (like Abby does). Okay, that's all I have. Maybe you are laughing your head off now because I was so completely wrong, or maybe I wasn't specific enough, but this is pretty much what I see. I don't know. A big theme of this story (to me) seems to revolve around the idea of leaving childhood behind. I get that from the whole Disney thing. I don't know if you intended that or not, but that's what I've come out with so far. Either way, I think it's good. This was a nice chapter with the metaphors, although I'm sure the metaphors you intended were better than the ones I gave. I really hope the next chapter doesn't explain them all, because then I will feel really stupid for this long review. Long review short. Nice job!

GrannyP 2007-12-03 ch 2,	abuseI picked this story to read! I hope it's a good one! Okay, this is completely random, but you brought tears to my eyes at the part when they got to Hillary's house... I grew up in a white house with black shutters and my childhood best friend was a redhead with green eyes... it brought back some great memories... -sniff- So far I love the relationship between Chase and Abby.. I know that's not exactly the point of the story, but I am a sucker for sibling relationships, especially when the siblings get along. Anyway, I think it's so normal for stories to have siblings that don't get along or fight a lot... so I LOVE when good relationships exist between family. This story is already getting on my good side, and I haven't even gotten that far into it yet. And Abby sounds interesting, with her white horse Prince Charming expectations... and her cluelessness about Mike.. but I could be wrong about that! Anyway, can't wait to keep reading! GrannyP
