Reviews For: Intimacy is a Prelude to Suffering

Nice! At first I wasn't sure who or what that man was, though it was obvious he was the personification of some idea she refused to listen to. This is a perfect example of foolishnees. Instead of shutting away one's emotions and ignoring them, blaming them for misfortunes, it is always best to listen to them lest we return to that place.

The dialogue was colorful in its simplicity, conveying exactly this point most artfully. It certainly caught my attention from the beginning.

My favorite part is how you portray Love with horns, scraping the roof of his small confinement, and he says “Perhaps someday you’ll give me a new incarnation as well.” A bit of sardonic humor that made me both smile and pity the...personifies emotion. It was a very sad ending; very poignant as he "wept for his jailor" Loved this piece, it will go in my favs as well.

Never thought of love personified in such a way. Great use of imagery, and the diction is quite professional. Very nice. A+.

wow. well, i identify with it completely. i think...we blame love for pain, when love is not at all pain. the pain we "associate" with love is self-inflicted by our perceptions of things said and done. if we think about those things differently...if we trust in the love completely...we will not inflict this pain upon ourselves. each time we beat down love as the reason for our pain, we further encase it within our own hearts.

great work.

...its confusing, at times i wasnt sure who was saying what, but i think its trying to say you cant force someone to do what you want them to, they have to make that choice on their own, ya know. but anyway good stuff
