Ah yes, I hated school as well. "Beatings of pain", huh? Well, I think a few of my teachers wanted to hit me, especially my music teacher. I like the rhythm at the beginning, reminiscent of the torrent of violent weather you describe. I enjoyed this poem, it portrayed the longing for springtime and agony of school very well.P.S. Thank you for your reviews, and I will fix the grammatical errors where you pointed them out (don't think my English teacher even caught those, thanks).

My sentiments exactly.. You really took the words right out of my mouth. The fact that there are no caps makes it that much bleaker.

About your review, I'm planning a chapter right now that has her at home. I'm not sure why so much about Biology just came to me.

great poem- i can def. relate to it. like in geomerty class. and human geogrpahy. and physical sciecne...etc. i love the line 'the onslaught of terror' i think i'm obsessed w/ the word 'onslaught' awesome writing :)
