abuseYou say you love this, and yet you're still your own worst critic, that's how amazing this was.

I love the whole stanza which included what you said was your favorite line.

"And doesn't it seem like sometimes/We're really the maze instead of the rat/Because I used to be able to figure us out/But then you changed on me when I turned my back."

There's only one part I don't like in this, "Since you’re not grown up enough/To admit seeing is to believe." I don't agree with that, and I think saying that someone isn't grown up enough for something, or accusing one of immaturity, is a sign, in itself, of immaturity.

IMHO.

Still AMAZING!!

Haha. A-maze-ing.

Get it? Becasue there's a line about a maze?

Yeah, I'm not clever. C'est la vie.

abuseI enjoyed this immensely. You see I am trying to stop saying I love your poems but by all I say that is what i mean.

These were great lines

"Cause dreams just don’t evaporate

Killing dreams takes a pinch of love and dash of hate

So don’t you whisper in my ear

Because I’ve heard more than I wanted to hear"

I think that is going on my quotes page.

Sincerely,

the Stranger in th moonlight.

abuseI like. it's funny how I thought of Flowers for Algernon, too. that story was sad, but I liked it.

your poem is one of the best ones I've read in this format. I used to write in this kind of style, but I always found it hard to find just the right word to rhyme. good job!
