| Farrie 2006-03-29 ch 1, | I enjoyed it. It made me think. I like the line "The noise of a word halfremembered... brought to the surface" and I enjoyed the mixing of fantasy and reality. Umm the poem flowed well enough in my head while I was reading, but I didn't really get a chance to read it out loud to get a true handle on rhythm etc... my sis is harassing me to get off the Net! |
| The Fourth Fate 2006-03-26 ch 1, | OMG. This is amazing. I love all the imagery and there were so many increidble lines: "Like what do I sew up the corners of silence with," AH AMAZING. I love it. "And when is the sky coming home," Omg. I love that. I can't even explain why, though. "why cupid is such a disaster," It's cute and kind of sad at the same time. I love it. "like rain falling and filling the afternoon" I love it. I know exactly what you mean. The rain does fall and just fill everything. I love love love it. "do we need a destination to look for an end?" WOAH. Just deep thoughts. AH I love it!! "As many answers as there are threads" It's all just truly incredible. "between stress and freefalling." What an incredible end. Wow. Ah I just love it. I'm having a bad words moment but haha just know that I think it's amazing. |
| Calligrapher of Hearts 2006-03-26 ch 1, | My brain hurts so much after that. Expertly written with beaurtiful imagery, but a little confusing. Loved the use of Peter Pan and "fair tale (fairy tale)". xhXix |
| breezy nostrils 2006-03-25 ch 1, | I think the flow was kind of rushed? in the third stanza. (maybe that wasn't the right word) it seemed to be more choppy. I'm really tired right now, so if I'm babbling, you can most likely ignore it. Breathing and burning makes the mostmusic, any echo has twice the lifespan - beautiful line. interesting tho. nice work. |
| Aquafied 2006-03-25 ch 1, | it altogether, it slips and slides into place why cupid is such a disaster,-cute, almost, only almost. the whole poem has a homely feel, a nice, upbeat but derranged sort of quality (i am starting this theory of how we will all use some character of peter pan in some poem, over time. interesting?) |
| White Tea and Ginger 2006-03-25 ch 1, | 'Like what do I sew up the corners of silence with,' 'And when is the sky coming home,it reaches far above me and only opensup to that damn Peterpan.(it's not a fair tale).' 'will wander on to wonderingwhy cupid is such a disaster' 'like rain falling and filling the afternoon' Truly great work, I love it. The way you phrase things is so unique. I'm very jealous of your talent. |
| burning kisses 2006-03-25 ch 1, | WOW!! great imagery. you writing is so unique and unusual. you have a great way of capturing the reader. NICE. |
| Faithless Juliet 2006-03-25 ch 1, | [Before I start (my usual monologue of praise - I totally get two M&M poems for the price of one this morning) I have to tell you about this poet that I just read. Her name‘s Dorianne Laux - and in reality she only lives a few hours away from me but she‘s so amazing. I just read “Facts about the Moon” it made me think of you, and another one called “Smoke” both books of poetry that I totally recommend. And if you’ve already heard of her then I’m totally over here laughing about how late I got on that bandwagon. But you should totally check her out.] (Like what do I sew up the corners of silence with, if this sound is all I have?) I could really see that. The noise of a word halfremembered and glued to an idea not brought to the surface.Breathing and burning makes the most music, any echo has twice the lifespan - I really like these lines, but they feel very (smushed) in there, like there too tight, squeezing each other in and I’m still thinking about the last one when I just read the next one. Maybe breaking them up a bit into stanza’s, I think they would work better on their own with space between them then together as a whole. That damn Peterpan - I love Peter Pan (you can play Peter and I‘ll play Wendy) I swear that was the only make believe game that was fun when other people were playing. Experience whispers it's the idiots whodo not cling and are happy to slip aroundlike rain falling and filling the afternoonwill be the ones smiling when they mature.-I think I would put myself in the idiots shoes; I’d rather be an idiot (not in the ridiculous sense, please) then realize sometime later that I missed out on something that I really don’t feel whole now that I haven’t experienced it. It’s hard to say what you can and cannot do because some people have their levels and other’s don’t, but then you have to worry about regret over the doing or the not doing (Am I making sense here, because I feel like I‘m not) but yeah, it’s hard thing to tackle - life - it’s to ever changing to ever really figure it out. Juliet. |
| lavenderfixdaisy 2006-03-25 ch 1, | like the allusions in this really does keep you reading, encapitated in a sense, its tone...theres something in its wispy tone that avokes some freedom and reflection...its beautiful in a very strange sense |
| xHannahx 2006-03-25 ch 1, | wow. this is cool. i like the ideas, it kinda reflects the rambliness of meditative thinking. dont see a problem with flow, but then i havent read it outloud. seems good to me. gd stuff. Han. |
