I LOVE that 3rd stanza. Stunning imagery, and it totally makes me want to go back to summer as a kid. I've been thinking about that period of my life a lot lately, so when I see stuff like this come up, I just fall in love. Great work. Keep writing! :)

the last line sums it up well. it's almost like a vague story. very very vague, but i like that.

'once, I was joy.I was love.'

this makes me want to shake the boy next to me and go 'LOVE ME.'

(Pink dandy lion is a favourite of mine too) I'm in love with your use of "frution;" so fantastically unexpected but appropriate. And the final stanza is streaming with imagery, fabulous.
