Ohh... This is a nice start. I can tell that this story will be exciting, and you clearly have it planned out in your head very well. It's already suspenseful... The story could already go in so many different directions! I'm anxious to see which one you pick...

Eagerly awaited and not disappointed!

Now I have the feeling (I hate those feelings) that this... wanting has some deeper much darker meaning... or another meaning entirely...

I want to find out what it is!

Too late to word these things in a readable way... It's great, I love the swop of perspectives and how somehow they both may have a deeper meaning... That calculas stuff might get her out of a sticky situation!

I like the opening paragraph here, with its introduction of the character and location - I admit I can now imagine quite clearly a yellow house atop a village...

The whole prologue starts to put you on edge from the very first sentence; it could almost be overwhelming without the delicate balance you added of Jade being very down (I can understand why!) and so you concentrate more on the text itself instead of thinking "Stuff reading that, something big is gonna happen!"...

I am looking forward to the next installment - this has really attracted me now
