hmm . . . i'm confused, but curious. i really like John, but Elena is somewhat creepy. then again, skipping kinda scares me in anyone over the age of 6. update.

so this is getting interesting but you have a lot of things to tie togther it just gets more and more weird.

I am a little confused as to why all of this is happening but nevertheless I am happy that you updated. I cannot wait to see how you unravel this portion of the story.

Chapters 7-8

Another fantastic pair of chapters!

John's "dream" about shooting the arrows while blindfolded was an interesting bit of forshadowing. I can only guess what great task lies before him. And the way you described the bow, and the arrow, and the process of shooting - I've never shot a bow and arrow before, but the details you gave and the terminology you used made the scene really vivid for me. The way you wrote it made it seem "right", made me believe that you really knew what you were talking about.

I also loved the way you wrote about Elsie's experience when she channelled divine power in order to heal Glenn. The image of Arturiel standing beside her, sheltering her with his wings, was absolutely gorgeous. You really captured the right mixture of awe, joy, and sadness.

On a more humorous note, I really enjoyed Wilhelm's flashback about giving Grafnon a bug to hold, which Grafnon promptly put in his mouth. "Wilhelm figured that the bug had been tasty." LOL!
