abusei love it! yes, its sappy, but hey...

just one thing though - the rhythm seems to jolt a little throughout - some of the lines have a few too many syllables...

But apart from that, a job well done. Keep it up!

abusevery pretty, but i think it would have been better if you had put the 'BUT' in lower case letters, very mystical and enjoyable to read nonetheless. Keep writing

abuseHello! Just wanted to say that I liked how your rhyme was really smooth is relatively advanced insertion of syllables. Couplets and ABAB are my thing as well. Well, ABAB comes more smoother for me. Anyhow, I usually don't.. actually almost never write love poems (especially happy ones). So, this piece was out of place for my reading, but nevertheless it was commendable for its diction.

Which tickles my curiousity: are you a young writer? Poet, I should rather ask, because I see many many great poems! I think it's great you're into this kind of stuff! :D

Well, thank you for your review of my poem Chronos. It's been a while since I've had any time to write anything, though I've been eager to do so. But I needed to come here and tell you that that poem wasn't my style. I modelled it after Ronna Bloom's "The Job of an Apple", and just inserted a subject that interests me a lot: time. Sometimes, it's really great to read some good works by professionals, then model a new poem of your own after them. Keep up the good work!

abuseAs was said, a very sweet, straight forward poem, but I do like it for this. Sometimes it's good to have simple poetry with a lovely meaning, and this is one of those times.

abuseAww that's sweet, I like it. Nice rhyme and description. However the line: "All my problems of yesterday vanish to air" doesn't sit right with me for some reason. Anyway, very nice job all in all.

abusePowerful stuff, love is. Huh. It's nice to read something besides angst every once in a while. I love the third to last stanza. . . and the second to last. . . and the last. . . and add in the first two as well, for that matter. But I especially like the fourth. . . from the top. Oh, just ignore me. I've gone and confused myself. Sorry for the crappiest review ever. Thanks for one of the best. -E.L.

abuseThis was a wonderfully sappy poem that I did, dispite myself, very much enjoy. Sometimes there is just nothing like reading a good, clean love poem without any of the angst and darkness that people see a lot on my haikus. As I write this I'm at work, so it might also amuse you to know that your poem has lifted my spirits a little, and you made me thinking longingly of my girlfriend. Well done, your words have meaning and impact unlike some (or most) of the other love poems I have read. Oh, and I love a poem that actually rhymes.

Peace, Daze
