Great way to end the poem. It was beautiful. It definately isn't a horrible poem. Never stop writing.

belief me when i say, this is no horrible poem, reading it made my heart pound, i really like it, it brings me mermories, and i know how it feels to feel as these peom describes, you did a great job describing what was being said.

The simile at the end was good. I also love that painting by Amy Brown. The rest of the poem is... a little cliché and boring. I would play with it a little more if I were you, maybe add more imagery or rhyme or something.

Definalty not horrible! This was really gorgeous little poem. No adjustments needed! And now adding it to my fav stories list...Keep writing!
