Very nice! You manage to introduce many key concepts to the story while beginning in the middle of everything. I like it quite a bit.

Aww, that is so sad! You conveyed the agony of being damned for ever so well, that I really felt so sad and hopeless for Ayman. Really, a great short story. Very powerful and impressive, but was easy to understand as well.

I like the story. Uriel herself was very well written and in the end I can't help but feel sorry for her. She's the ultimate victim of circumstnace; a soldier sent to kill a former comrade so close that lines seperating duty and personal revenge seem to blur out of existence. I loved the transition, also. From being an emotional wreck unable to even speak of the attrocites commited on the battlefield to being a cold-line veteran; it was all very well done.

Excellent story, very chilling. I loved how you built up the world around the event, and created a character with enough moral conflicts to be truly intriging. The darkness to the story was also well written, an unhappy ending, is a happy ending for me. well done.
