I see this very poignantly from the way you have written the scene. It's told beautifully and achingly (particularly when you read it having lost family/friends in this manner) and oddly reminds me of the Civil War. Very well done.

This was a deep poem, but i guess it is understandable...It is does capture the feelings of battle, if you will, quite well, and it makes you think! _ i liked it a lot!

A very interesting perspective - this seemed very futuristic to me, like you were writing from the perspective of someone out in the future, though I guess with all things it could work with right now to. Keep up the good work.
