Really well written! I loved your descriptions and just the development in general.

I believe that 'finding a way to make it work' is important when it comes to faith. I myself am a Christian, but I do my best not to be a blind one. I don't just do something because preacher so-and-so says I should. I'm always asking why. True, there are some times when I do have to rely on faith, but that's something that has to be accepted when accepting Christianity. Something most people find quite hard I guess, and I'm not saying it's easy either.

Wow. That's good; open and pretty deep. I like how you view Mary as being just another kid. I honestly think you could take this and make it into a story; thing is, of course, you'd have to make up your own ending.
