I have enjoyed reading this story. The part from the journal that Alexander is reading had me on edge for a bit. And the paragraph where the cat looked like he wanted to jump out the window actually made me laugh out loud a bit.

I hope you are able to recover your health and settle everything else going on in your life. I think you're one of the better writer's on fictionpress, so I really hope you will be able to pick this story back up eventually.
