kaylajac 2007-09-26 . chapter 2
I can't say I'm terribly knowledgeable about evolution, what it entails, how much proof there is for it, etc., but some things in favor of Creationism seriously struck me as ridiculous, no offense.

"Anyone who truly searched for the truth could find only one answer: the world was created. In ancient times, this was common knowledge." And these primitive ancient peoples were so infallibly right? Couldn't it just be that with the limited knowledge they had access to, any concrete scientific theory of the universe's origin hadn't been formulated yet?

"This is why Christianity was accepted so quickly after Christ’s death and resurrection: it made more sense than any other view of life." Uhh, how? How seriously does Christianity make any more logical sense than other religions? And also, Christianity caught on so fast not because it made more sense than the alternatives, but from the way it provided citizens of the Roman empire [people which were only now beginning to live in a large cosmipolitan society, which compensated less for the desires and wishes of the individual and more for those of the entire group] with the comforting concepts of salvation and eternal bliss.

"Thousands of Christians died for their beliefs, but their devotion caused Christianity to grow faster than Christians could be killed." Once again, not the merits of Christianity and its followers that caused it to spread so fast. It was the way the world was finally beginning to be interconnected [mainly through maritime trade on the Mediterranean Sea, and the new Roman roads] that allowed information to spread faster than ever before. It's a nice idea to think that believers' devotion helped it spread faster, but it's really not the case.

"Simply refusing to hear out Christianity is not a new idea: it dates way back to ancient Rome." Rome didn't want to accept Christianity for POLITICAL reasons- Jesus's message of 'the kingdom of God is at hand' had political overtones to them, they thought he was a threat to their empire. It was not for scientific reasons. They are not the same thing.

"Creation, on the other hand, is proven true by pure logic, as well as much physical evidence that I will include in later chapters." Pure logic? Logic is that someone had to create the universe, earth and humans along with it? Well, I'm waiting.
kaylajac 2007-09-26 . chapter 1
I read this a while ago, I'm only getting around to replying to it now, so I just thought I'd comment and maybe get your opinion on some things.

I'm fourteen, when I was younger and living in Georgia I was raised in a loosely Christian family [didn't attend church or read the Bible often, but still believed in God] and then when I was older, after my parents were divorced, both of them grew into stronger Christians while [ironically] by the time I was twelve I was agnostic, and by a year later I was an atheist. A lot of people tend either to not believe me or assume I was 'brainwashed' by outside influences when I tell them this, but please just understand that this was the outcome of both my own thought and my own research. [Also, understand I probably do not fit the image you get in your mind's eye of 'fourteen year old girl.']

The beginning of this essay I felt was pretty off- practically everyone I've ever met knows the story of Christianity. 83% of Americans call themselves some kind of Christian, everyone knows at least the basics, and I don't think there's anywhere near as much confusion or misconception as you believe ['people trying to take your money,' etc.

Anyway, I have never thought Christianity was necessarily a bad thing, and I never bothered to try and disprove it, nor do I see myself making that effort in the future. I think a lot of principles of Christianity are really very good ones, ones that tend to promote peace, love, generosity etc., except I believe we ought to be acting that way for 1) our own personal betterment and 2) the general good of humankind around us. I don't think religion is bad, just because a lot of people need a structure like religion to uphold their morals [no offense and I'm not suggesting you're this way, but so many people are nothing more than sheep. They couldn't uphold moral standards without the thread of hell and God's anger to stop them from being amoral.]

Anyway, the biggest problem I have always had with Christianity is the enormous discrepancy between their holy book and what you are taught in church and other Christian places. You always hear, Christianity is the religion of love and tolerance and benevolence and kindness. Well, to be completely frank, I flip through the Bible and I'm not getting many of those characteristics in association with God. Jesus, sure, but God? Nope. Entire cities are smited for the sins of some who live there, people turn into pillars of salt for turning around when God said not to [I mean, no offense, but come on. Salt? Why?] The Bible is full of intolerance and hatred for plenty of types of people- nonbelievers, believers of other religions, homosexuals, etc etc. But people think they're justified for hating those types of people, so who cares, right? Overall it disturbs me that Christianity is portrayed as some giant ball of love and eternal bliss for everyone, when your holy book is full of so much violence and hatred, some of which seems ridiculously arbitrary.

I also have a problem with the way, in the Bible, there are plenty of concepts and orders which we just get to conveniently ignore today, but we do things like cherry-pick Leviticus to pick out nice justifications for things we are against or people we don't like. For example. All these things about eating kosher food, don't eat pigs, don't mix fabrics- nobody does that anymore except for serious, Orthodox Jews, who of course follow the Old Testament and don't believe the New. But we pluck out Leviticus 18:22 (NIV) with that oft-debated verse, "Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable." What makes that verse more true or more important than Leviticus 15:19, "When a woman has her regular flow of blood, the impurity of her monthly period will last for seven days, and anyone who touches her will be unclean until evening." Today, it seems absolutely ludicrous to think a woman has to be ostracized simply for being on her period, yet we're allowed to take the homosexuality verse seriously, and climb up on our soapboxes and rant about how sinful it is. Hmm. I realize Jesus got rid of the need for sacrifices, according to the Bible, but where did he render the Old Testament's verses null and void? If he did, why does the homosexuality verse [and very few others] still last? Perhaps we're thinking of the New Testament verse from Corinthians which, as I'm not sure many people know, is a letter from Paul to the church of Corinth. In other words, that verse (Cor 6:9-10) is Paul's orders to the church, assumably from the mouth of God, though we have no idea if it's verbatim or rather one of Paul's own strong opinions. You see, all these discrepancies in the Bible and the way people can't agree on its interpretation, or even the most important key points- it makes it very very difficult for me to take Christianity seriously.

I also have a problem with Christianity's conflict against other religions. Not direct physical conflicts, I mean its truth as compared to other religions, or as compared to atheism. How do we know that Christians are correct and not Buddhists, or Hindus, or even the atheists? It seems very interesting [and might I add very convenient] that the religion of choice for the powerful countries in the world [America especially] is Christianity, so we think we can impose its truth on these ancient and time-tested religions in Asia and elsewhere. How do you seriously have proof that you're right, as opposed to all these other beliefs? Well, you don't. You might say the other religions are just too ridiculous, multiple gods and reincarnation and whatnot, but when compared to the idea that "a talking snake which was really Satan convinced Eve and Adam to eat an apple so they gained knowledge and were kicked out of God's kingdom forevarr", it's not so ridiculous anymore.

It just worries me that, if Christianity is true and subscribing to the idea of a Christian god is the only way to get to heaven, all the people who are simply born into non-Christian places or religions are pretty much screwed from birth. Is it their fault they were born in a sub-Saharan African tribe, in India, in China? It's not at all, yet they're going to hell for it. It makes no sense to me.

I've always felt that America is in its own little rich white people Christian bubble. They don't stop to consider the fact that with their religion they are condemning such a vast portion of the world to hell, and the majority of those people are going there through simply their birthplace, no fault of their own.

Oh, and the last little stanza, about being wrong about eternity? I thought you might be interested in "Pascal's Wager", you could look up a good article on that, I believe Wikipedia has one. [It's in your favor :P]
Taltush/MeiMei 2007-06-05 . chapter 1
As a member of your mother religion, the one you emerged from, I'd like to point some things out regarding your biblical claims. You've read translation. I have not.

Things get lost in translations.

You took half of your works from us, and some of your claims are actually, well, not fully accurate. Regarding homosexuality, there is a very clear, explicit moment where anal sex is forbidden. For one thing, nowhere is it mentioned that being lesbian is forbidden, something that has been pointed out by quite a few very religious people.

Second of all, if you haven't met anyonoe like this, I will never cook a calf in its mothers milk. And that means not eating them together. That's because many people with similar beliefs as mine don't mix the two (and wait several hours to digest the food afterwards) in order not to break this law. It is VERY explicit. It is VERY clear.

You mentioned Muslims, and yet you didn't even touch on the religion that both came from. I'm both surprised and rather annoyed, I'll admit. Maybe it's because Christianity took many of my ideas and twisted them (even your second half of the bible, which for me... no). Obviously, personal belief is clouding my judgement here, but there are some things here that just don't go with what Jesus Christ originally believed in (and I might add that his idea was to get rid of what made his religion... well, his religion).

I respect your views, but there's not much I can say. I'm NOT a Christian, and my religion kind of views Christianity poorly (especially since it doesn't made sense. I've asked people for answers to VERY simple questions many times, and yet every single time they stumble. No offense intended, but that's kind of a flaw...) and doesn't exactly fully respect how it dropped many of our beliefs. Also, the mass murdering throughout time in the name of Christianity certainly hasn't helped much. (I think you can guess by now, but don't say it aloud)

Anyways, moving onto writing... I think that this is a bit rambling and not quite... connected, maybe? This feels a bit more like you just sat down and started writing a diary entry, but then you decided to be all professional and write "an official essay". The feel was kind of off, and the rambling sensation only got bigger as the piece grew longer. I'd probably suggest cutting back, but I really can't give you a proper opinion, because that would lead to a whole debate/argument, and it's too early for that.

wow... um, i really don't know what to say.

i AM an atheist, and it is not because i take sick pleasures in bashing people with religious priorities, like you may believe. i also cannot believe that you would say that if muslims kill someone they will still be a muslim. and how is that not the same for christians? ever heard of the "crusades"? i am not trying to convince you to change your mind, because i know from experience that that is simply never going to happen. i know, however, that the bible contradicts itself. in the OT, it says "eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth." in the NT, it says "turn the other cheek." o-kay. and despite in the OT it says, "if a man lays with a man as with a woman, they both should be killed and blood should be on their heads etc etc", you know that that ** was definitely not divinely inspired. and many other religions do this. i happened to be devoutly christian up until about seventh grade. then i became gothic and suicidal because i started to notice that i was attracted to girls as well as boys. i would pray and cry, and pray and cry every day for God to help me, or if it was His will, to let me die. every day i would scan my eyes over bottles of pills, and i would sharpen the dagger in my parents' room (don't know how he got it, but he doesn't use it). finally, i realized that the only thing that would stop me from killing myself was me, and i realized that i always wanted to make a difference in the world, and i couldn't do that dead. i somehow knew this was my purpose, and there was no God to make me realize that, because if it hadn't been for my realization, i wouldn't be typing this right now. that is why i don't believe anymore. it doesn't seem like a divine plan to let someone kill themselves. that's just retarded. now, i am bisexual, happily enjoying life, and trying to conquer my problems with laziness, because right now, that's the only thing stopping me. i respect all religions, but please, don't shove it down my throat. that simply doesn't work anymore.

"I did not come here to call non-Christians awful people. If I felt that I wasn't succeeding in either, I would delete my account immediately. That's why it really gets under my skin when people write nothing but poison."

Can u do that? How?
CL Gingerich 2006-10-17 . chapter 2
I just want to give you a word of encouragement. These reviewers are coming down on you pretty hard. Arguing will get you nowhere, though. I still don't believe the Evolution theory because there are so many holes in it. One man thought up the idea and so many people follow him for it. But God made the entire Universe. How is it possible for every single organism to form and be created from a Big Bang or through Evolution? Creatures are so diverse.

God is the very definition of Love. He loves us. Why would he just create fish billions of years ago and watch them evolve into humans? He created us so that he could watch us grow and live in Him. He longs for a personal relationship with every one of us.

No one of us are better than the next because we are all humans and make mistakes. We all sin. The difference between Christians and the rest of the world is that Jesus Christ has forgiven our sins because we accept his gift of salvation. There are no strings attached. He loves us that much.

All he askes us to do is love God and spread His Good News to the world. I admit, I mess up. We make boo-boos! We lie. We steal. We hate. We are no better than anyone else. But in us, Jesus has given us a second chance at Life. True Life. He even gives us third tries, fourth tries. He told us to forgive those who wrong you seventy times seven... in other words, infinity times! He asks us to live as He lived. But we screw up along the way because we are human.

But God loves each person on the face of this green and blue Earth. He wants to give us the Life beyond the grave. If only we would all accept such a generous gife.

"For God so loved the world He gave His only son, so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16

Jesus sacrificed Himself for our sins so that we may have a pathway to God. That is the most precious form of love.
CL Gingerich 2006-10-17 . chapter 1
Wow. You have a fire inside. :-) I am also a Christian, and what you have written is true. People just don't want to hear Christians talk about their faith... so why should we? If we live our faith, it's a much better example. And honestly, I've never been given a good explanation of evolution either. It's amazing how corrupt America has become. Our forefathers were Christian. It blows my mind. Anyways, keep writing. I'm very interested.

Goodbye for good. For now.

I am leaving the political arena; it's been bad for my health.

Theatre des Vampires 2006-05-15 . chapter 1
I ♥ you? No, that would be gay. Quite unchristian.
tofujunky 2006-05-10 . chapter 2
Hi.

"Why did you join FictionPress.com?"

I was bored. I was lured by the political debates then.

"Your early works are poems and songs that say something. They are works of art that clearly show your talent. Isn't that what it's all about?"

Thank you for the kind words. But no, that isn't what it's all about. At least not for me.

"But look at what you write now. Many of your works are specifically attacking Christianity."

Yes, it's true that I do tend to focus on religion in my pieces. It's easier to express my beliefs through them I guess. But I don't see it as shedding a negative light on Christianity itself; I think it's more of revealing my doubts and opinions on the followers and their sentiments.

"Is that why you signed up? To make other people look bad?"

No, that is not my purpose. I don't make people look bad -- I think that's something they do on their own. I do use mockery, I am guilty of that. But I always feel horribly rotten afterwards. Does that count for anything?

"Some people are like that. Look at Jauvas. He hasn't written anything, he just goes around agreeing with people who make fun of Christians. That just bugs me."

I really do think that Jauvas is a joke account. Meaning, he or she has taken on the role of being the idiotic supporter, when in reality he or she is actually an idiotic opposer.

"Do you want to change the world or just make fun of it?"

Well, that depends on my mood. Can I change the world by making fun of it? Is that an option?

"I came here to improve my writing skills and prove to myself that I could defend my faith."

I came here because I like reading poetry and 'essays'; I stayed here because I found that I could broaden my views by exchanging thoughts and opinions with the few fascinating members here. Whether I agree with them or not, I don't think that's necessarily important.

"I did not come here to call non-Christians awful people. If I felt that I wasn't succeeding in either, I would delete my account immediately. That's why it really gets under my skin when people write nothing but poison."

What you see as poison might be what someone else deem as holy water. And vice versa. It's all a matter of perspective.

"When I wrote, 'Try writing about something you agree with for once' I meant to write about what you believe, not what other people believe."

I knew what you meant. This was my point: No matter what pro or anti piece one writes, it is always about what one believes.

"I want to change the world. I believe it could be better. If I'm doing this the wrong way, tell me why."

Look, everyone wants to mold the world to their own specifications. I think it's more of selfish need than anything. They say, 'if everyone saw it my way, the world would be better.' What they mean is, 'the world would be better for me if they would all just agree with me.'

"But don't tell me I'm stupid just because you don't like Christians."

Oh, Jesus. Not again. Okay, some of the things you said were frankly quite stupid. It had nothing to do with you being a Christian. Maybe it's a bit harsh, but it was out of reflex. That's what happens when I comment as I read.

"You obviously have the talent to do much better than that. I want to see it."

I'm afraid it'll be too much for you to handle.

"Thank you for reading this, whether you hate me or not."

I don't not ♥ you. iknowathirdthingaboutpoetry ♥ you. TypewriterKing ♥ you. No Trust ♥ you. Juavas ♥ you. Theatre des Vampires ♥ you. Jesus ♥ you. The soon-to-be-better world ♥ you.

You know when you said/implied Christians only want to love their neighbors? I really don't think your neighbors would feel so loved if you keep telling them--indirectly or otherwise--that you're wright and they're rong and they're going to Hell.

I really don't know to what purpose the bit about the Catholic Church persecuting Protestant bit serves except for to belittle the Catholics, but I guess that's fair enough. After all, if there's one thing all Christian denominations agree on, it's that the Catholics are not one of them. Good for y'all.

tofujunky 2006-04-24 . chapter 1
It is a general rule of mine to allow others to express themselves freely in my review boards. And because of that I normally do not respond to given comments, however negative or idiotic they are.

However, I felt I needed to clear the misunderstandings you seem to have. I chose this method over emailing you because it’s more convenient for me this way; and since this is an anon. review, you can delete it whenever you wish.

“Do you have any idea of what God is like?”

Sure I do. But I won’t force you to embrace those ideas if that’s what you’re worried about.

“Do you just make this stuff up?”

No, don’t be silly. I get them straight from God himself. Yep, we have this special bond that is beyond what your measly mind can comprehend.

“Why do you people constantly attack Christianity”

Because fake Christianity deserves a bit of a spanking.

“and then when we defend ourselves, you say we ‘make me sick’”

Well, you said it yourself: Christian imposters aren’t worthy of respect.

“How can you hypocrites call us ‘overzealous’ while constantly asserting your own beliefs about Christianity?”

Here’s the case: as long as you continue to insist that your beliefs should be laws that we all have to abide by, there’ll always be others who will keep sharing their views on your beliefs. See how that works?

“I could spend years writing about how tofu was stupid”

What do you have against bean curd?

“but then I would be a RETARD and nobody would like me. Sound familiar?”

Damn, you just can’t win, can you?

“What good reason can you give me for flooding my reviews section with your poison?”

Goodness, I left one freakin’ review! How is that 'flooding'? Not to mention the fact that it was all relevant to the topic of the discussion. Anyway, I have 100 good reasons but I’ll just leave you with one: Because I can.

“You have no idea what you're talking about, but you like to pretend that you do.”

I’m going to simply pretend that you didn’t say something that lame.

“No amount of satirical insults will ever make you sound smart or even worth listening to.”

C’mon, lets not make any premature conclusion here. It’s proven to work pretty well thus far. Just give me some time.

“Try writing about something you agree with for once.”

Needless to say, I fully agree with everything that I’ve written. So I honestly do not see the validity of your complaint.

“Interesting logic: Jesus was a nice guy, so he was obviously gay.”

Lol . . . I have always said that people will create their own bias interpretations of what they read. “Jesus Was Gay” was my way of experimenting with that argument.

“So Hell thou art not fear / I have words to share with thee / Thus thou shalt think me ** / Keep thyself free of wickedness / For I am the son of God / Granting all a second chance / Dost thou still think me odd?” – If you read it with a better grasp of the English language, then you would realize that '**' in this case means 'strange or odd'. And what about 'gay' you ask? Well, my witless friend, it wasn’t about being a homosexual. I was asserting that Jesus was happy, content, merry . . . you get the idea, no? I suggest you read it again, and see for yourself.

The funniest thing about it is that the piece was definitely one of my most positive portrayals of Jesus I’ve composed, and yet just look at the criticisms I received from Christians on it.

“So by this logic, judging by your disposition, I believe that you have a large stick lodged permanently up your rear end. Am I right?”

No, you’re wrong. If you don’t believe me, you can come over and check for yourself.

“You spend a lot of time insulting people.”

In all fairness, it’s only the dumb-asses that I ridicule.

"Okay, you’ve all heard the story about a group of people who claim that when you die you either go to a good place called Heaven or a bad place called Hell"

No, never heard of it. Do tell.

"and you have to join them and pay them money to get into Heaven."

Is Heaven a place on Earth?

"Oh, and something else about a guy who died and wearing a cross around your neck. It’s all a blur."

Yes, a lot like your logic.

"Then you hear about how a bunch of these people are getting mad somewhere at someone for no good reason and doing awful things: picketing funerals, throwing rocks through windows, blaming people for natural disasters, eating babies, that kind of thing."

Humans: Can't live with them, can't live without them dead.

"Everybody knows that Christians love to fight."

Hello! Christians LOVE to fight because Christians don't practice hate. You don't expect those good people to start hating now, do you?

"there are like 50 different kinds of ‘em, and they like to call each other stupid. Like a lot."

They're probably right about one another. Like, for sure.

"Maybe you’ve seen them having a meeting, singing songs about love and God and then they ask you for money."

And then they ask you to vote for them in the next election! The nerves!

"I am a Christian. I have spent most of my life hearing descriptions like this from people who have probably never met a real Christian."

Oh, young wise one, how is one able to tell the difference between a high-quality Christian replica and a low-grade authentic Christian? Is President Bush a real Christian? Was the BTK Kansas serial killer a Christian knockoff? And how does one protect oneself from being deceived? Should real Christians carry their certificates of authenticity with them at all times?

"There is a God. He existed before the earth, and he created the earth."

Okay, so far so good.

"He holds the earth together every moment of the day, and if he ever stopped we would all die instantly. He created the earth for us to live on, and all the animals and plants on it. He gave us free will, because He wanted us to have the choice to love him or not, and we were immortal . . ."

Silly, but go on.

"He also created angels to serve him outside of our world, but the greatest angel, Lucifer, chose not to serve him and led a rebellion. God easily defeated the angels who followed Lucifer, and banished them to earth."

So basically even with the knowledge that the almighty God existed -- the evidence is right in front of them no less -- that still didn't deter these angels from performing evil deeds? Nature: 1, Nuture: 0.

"Lucifer, now called Satan, convinced one of the two humans, Eve, to disobey the one rule God had given them. Once she had, the mere concept of disobedience, or sin, was allowed into man’s heart, and he could never be perfect again."

Damn you, Pandora . . . I mean, Eve!

"Although God still spoke to certain men, the world was in darkness until Jesus, God’s son came to earth and was born as a baby. He became a man, and was crucified by men, having done nothing wrong. Three days later, he rose from the dead, and the power of sin over man was broken."

Too bad the power of stupidity over man grew stronger as a result.

Breaking News: Judas is innocent! The poor guy was simply following God's plan. Get your 'Free Judas' T-shirts today.

"Many people were killed for believing in Jesus Christ, because believing in the truth means denouncing everything else."

Well, many people were killed for not believing in Jesus Christ, because believing in one's truth ** the ** out of the fellas with different truths of their own.

"So what happened? Why aren’t Christians the most friendly, decent, good-smelling people around?"

Is it because the organized and institutionalized Christianity have failed to accurately represent the life and the teachings of Jesus? Mark Twain: "If Christ were here now there is one thing he would not be -- a Christian."

"Some things in the Bible are clear, like “Homosexuality is detestable to God” (yes, it actually says that, we didn’t make it up.)"

Yes, nothing sickens God more than gay sex. And unwed non-virgin girls. And atheists and non-Christians. And inobedient wives who talk in church without permission from their hubbies. And female rape victims.

"Some things are less obvious, like “Do not cook the calf in its mother’s milk.”"

And "thou shall not kill". And "judge not lest ye be judged".

"we probably won’t go to Hell for it."

So you decide for yourself what rules are not to be broken and what rules could? Because, somehow, you know which would likely send you straight to Hell and which probably won't? Interesting.

"People just like to add their own spin to the Bible when they read it, and then pretend that it isn’t clear. People just get it wrong a lot."

I admire the fact that you're not afraid to use yourself as a good example of that.

"If someone says they’re a Christian and then murders someone, they aren’t a real Christian. If a Muslim murders someone he’s still a Muslim, because the Koran actually says that they should “Conquer your enemies and make them your slaves.” (As opposed to, “If a man strikes you on the cheek, turn to him your other cheek that he may strike it also”)"

And that's why many Christians (fake or real? it's still very hard to tell) support elimating those immoral beliefs with bullets and bombs and, of course, through revenge. Deuteronomy 20: 10-20 and other parts of the Bible obviously states in some way or another: “Conquer your enemies and make them your slaves.” Hot chicks were always kept as slaves, this we all know.

"Anyone who tells you Christianity is a bad idea is not talking about real Christianity."

Yeah, they're talking about the fictional Christianity that most Christians adopt.

"Real Christianity is pretty hard to find these days, but I assure you it’s out there."

Sadly, there's no denying that counterfeit Christians is a growing problem. It is highly recommended that one should look for "the real thing" within oneself first rather than seek for it from an online moral supplier that claims to specialize in Christianity.

"Christianity has never been disproved in any way"

Has Hinduism or Judaism or tofuism or even the whacky Scientology ever been disproved?

"Most “Smart people” today are atheists"

You know, you're a retard. Disprove that, retard.

"but Christianity has been around a lot longer than they have."

So what's your point?

"For centuries, people have challenged Christianity and failed."

Or was persecuted or killed, or was placed under house arrest for the rest of their miserable lives.

"Most of them died Christians themselves."

Only as posers. Not real ones, dude.

"Only recently have people decided Christianity is not scientific . . ."

Why do you feel that it's necessary to state that Christianity is scientific when -- hello! -- it isn't?

"Christianity is wrong, they’ve proven it and why would you ask, haven’t you heard by now?"

No, I haven't. Well? Aren't you gonna share?

"Everybody wants to disprove Christianity because it’s the truth."

And everybody wants to disprove I'm God because it's the truth.

"If Christianity is right, they all have to change their lives and admit they were wrong and give us money, right?"

If tofuism is right, you all have to change your lives and admit you're wrong and give me all your damn monies, yes?

"We have it tough: we are trying to be perfect, and we never will be, it’s as simple as that."

Woe is you.

"Whether we acknowledge it or not, we are all staking our lives on what we believe. If I am wrong about eternity, what will I lose?"

The mercy of Allah and lots and lots of virgins.

"If you are wrong about eternity, what will you lose?"

I'm not wrong. I hold the truth.
