I went to London. It wasn't that great either.

Actually it's refreshing to see someone else on here who isn't all "I bleed/the razor gleams" or "you don't know who I am/ you bully me but you don't know what I'm like inside" etc. etc., even though I don't always know what your point is.

This satisfies even my near-insatiable appetite for bittersweetness. Yum.

Wow, amazing.I think the theme of this poem in itself is original, and all of your words just flow together. Obviously, that's what poetry is meant to do, but you see so many works that are disjointed and unflattering nowadays! Not the case with this one. =) Keep writing!

wow.this is so true to life.I've never heard anyone before saying Paris is the capital of poets, but I don't believe it either.i like the line,"drink&vomit bile-tainted,shuddering night in heaving gulps" so dark and gorgeous.i think i will put this on my favourites.

and by the way, thankyou so much for reviewing my poetry,i'm sorry i haven't reviewed yours much recently.

Wow! Very descriptive! Great vocabulary! It has a rebellious, audacious tone. I never thought of Paris as the "capitol of poets" before; you made me think. Thank you.

I was reminded of Blake's poem 'London' - which is a good thing as your poem and his make observational political comments on the cities.

Your poem was effective in its distortion of the accepted idea of Paris. I liked the way it starts 'They say Paris is the capital of poets' using this as a basis for your argument. A good poem :)
