I agree though, it WAS a litte hard to read die to the style of font you chose...I guess I will always remember reading this! True, a little short, but snappy and to the point; great plot. For your first story, quite impressive and some good ideas evident. Well done. Derek x x x |

It brings to mind the hard-boiled detective stories of the 40s (ala Dick Tracy) but with a very dry kind of twist. I especially liked this exchange: “Take a sit,” I continued.“I can’t, the chair’s gone,” replied Jayne.I looked at the spot where my only one chair should be the only thing I saw was just pieces of wood apparently the chair had completely rotted away.“Okay, then sit on the shelf,” I said. Good stuff! I was sorry to see it end so fast, it's a good little read. |
