the naked civil servant 2006-07-01 . chapter 1i must stop relating ooriginal beautiful poetry to mainstream pop lyrics, but this did so remind me of :
& the plants are dry
& they need to drink
so you do your best
& you flood the sink
sit down in the kitchen & cry
mood of utter desolation, desperation, numbness, delusions. beautiful and sad. |
Femme de Dieu 2006-04-20 . chapter 1Whoa! That last line! Was totally unexpected and hit me like a ton of breaks upon the back of a feather.
It seemed to be such a light and airy litle ditty, April (time of renewal and love) and kitty-kats named Mr. Eliot. How whimsical...and then...
BOOM!
Thrown in a pit of despair.
EXCELLENT work. I love the simplicity of most of your pieces. To capture complex thoughts in few words is a real art. But you've also written lengthy prose also, with just as much understanding and depth.
Keep at it! |
chaos called creation 2006-04-16 . chapter 1Dreamy and almost alluring. Intriguing picture this gives off |
 classic violet 2006-04-13 . chapter 1Simple & brilliant. |
dollface and her cancer 2006-04-10 . chapter 1I am oddly charmed by this.
It's so simple, you know there's just got to be something you aren't seeing. |
not sure yet 2006-04-10 . chapter 1o my, what a mood you have created here, quite nicely done, leaves a nice hollow feeling, simple and effective, excellent poem... |
diffident 2006-04-09 . chapter 1This makes me sad. I don't feel a thing either. :( The concreteness of this poem and the simple statement at the end go well together. I like.
