This reminds me of one of my best friends, who I've known since before elementary school started...our moms were friends when they were pregnant with our siblings, our siblings were friends and now us. And I still look at my friend today and am continualy amazing that this friendship has lasted year after year and endured through the most difficult, trying times of our life. Your poem really expresses that strength that friends give you, that over the test of time, even when you move on you'll still have those bitter sweet memories.
