I'm more of a story person than a poetry one I'm afraid so when I scrolled down your profile (curiosity and all that) this is the one that jumped out at me.

I loved this because, even though it's the beginning of a novel, I could tell you were a poet. The structure of the sentences seemed to be picked so carefully for maximum effect.
