You have a nice way of capturing the essence of things, I think. I like the sadness and pain here, yet it doesn't seem bitter, like love lost often does. Well written.

This poem made me cry... So sad... The line that touched me most is 'we forgot the simple pleasures of playground toys', in my mind somehow the whole poem circled around that line... Can't really describe it. Wonderful poem, it's good to finally read something new from you!

Wow, I think you probably got better...this poems differs from your old ones because the meaning seems clearer...it's incredibly heartbreaking, the imagery is so bittersweet...you can almost hear her talking, and it takes you breath away...this is going on my faves, it's so amazing! Love, Mia
