A realistic read. By setting up a difference between them (the privelaged) and the narrator the poem and its choice of words made them seem ridiculous and false. I particularly loved the line 'bubbles of false laughter float down the hall', implying that they lacked a true sense of identity. Good poem :)

Hmm, I like the bitterness of this. Unfortunately the old cliche of "money doesn't buy happiness" murks it up a little, but otherwise I'm fond of this one. :)
