| none of burt's beeswax 2006-12-05 ch 1,   | nicely formatted. i love the switch from personal/specific (the first three stanzas) to impersonal/general (the last stanza). the line about emotional turmoil being atypical and expected seemed a little contradictory (not typical but expected?), but i loved the ending lines. the beginning two lines are very strong as well. the opening pulls you in and the ending leaves no loose strings. |
