complexdays 2008-08-05 ch 1,	abuseso, I just finished reading the first chapter, and I'm anticipating to read the next one! - but, I thought I should wait and write a review for you :) I love all your stories, & one-shots, and I have this intuition that this one is gonna be as good as the others. I felt a little guilty when I read the first few chapters or so, because my favorite fairy tale story was 'Beauty and the Beast,' and I felt a bit shallow after I read about Rapunzel. but hey - that's just my opinion. anyways, great plot and ideas, and kudos to you on writing a new story! :)
Napris 2008-07-26 ch 8,	abuseOkay ... the last person in this chapter was Seth, I'm sure. e_e Except he somehow can also fit for Robin Roe, though I have a nagging hunch that it's definitely Robin Roe who's been sending her love notes and the one that had been watching her since long ago; the guy with girlfriends that had no knobbly knees. But since I'm a terrible personality analyzer, and I'm not even done with the story so far, I'll just ... yeh. xD

I think you are definitely still able to pull off Mimi's voice; this chapter was just as funny and entertaining as always! I love the characters so much and they really do seem real. And I really love the whole love triangle with Mimi, Robin, and Seth (if that's what you can call it...). I really hope you continue this because it is one of my most favorite stories on FP right now! Happy writing. ^_^
Vampyresse 2008-07-24 ch 9,	abuseI liked this chapter and all the unsaid things I read in it. I hope you do manage to re-find the beauty in this fic! Moon River was amazing and I absolutely loved it, but to me it's a completely different type of story than this one. This is beautiful in that oblivious first relationship kind of way. There is a beauty in the awkwardness of Mimi, and in her dreams and aspirations, and the was she sees everything around her.

Even though Robin Roe is supposed to be super gorgeous, I still like Seth better. Huh. Well, cool chapter, I love the ducky! Hehe so cute! And how old is Lily supposed to be? I keep thinking of her as 12 because that's how old my sister is, but she seems so much more mature than that. Maybe she's like 14? Huh. I donno. Well I liked the chapter! Update soon? Pleease? :D

Robin just seems...I donno, too perfect? Seth is funny. Hehe. Well, I like them both. And even if it was Seth, what about his girlfriend? Whatever, I guess I'll just have to keep reading to find out! :D

Well this chapter seemed to never end. Which isn't a bad thing, it's actually good, but it just makes it hard to review because I don't remember all that happened. Hehe. Let's see...oh yeah! I feel bad for Seth because his doggy died! And I feel even worse for Mimi because of...well, everything. Jeez, that girl has bad luck. Well hey, they're even now, right? I'm wondering who this Seth guy is, why he, Robin, and Kevin are at her house, and why there's a DEAD dog? OMG! Very nice chapter overall though. Hehe. :D I liked it a lot! I'll read the rest later...gotta go eat dinner now. My dad's forcing me to actually leave the house! Lol.

Oh you have to update soon you're story is practically engraved in my brain...I feel like such a romantic when I read it...AND I AM NOT A ROMANCE TYPE OF PERSON BELIEVE ME! I'm more sadistic and a kick-** type of person even though I don't look it...but I HAVE been told I act like it XD. I Love this story so please keep it up.

Like, with the whole being quiet thing. I almost never talk in class...and I also have random hysterical laughing fits. ...anyway. Enough about me. FANTASTIC STORY! dashes off to read more chapters
blak pearl 2008-07-11 ch 9,	abuseHello you! It's taken me awhile to review this one, because I had to go back and re-read the story. Which was very entertaining, and I think I like it even more than I did before. First up, I definitely understand how easy it is to get detached from your story, and find it lame- especially after writing something like Moon River. But, my opinion, is that you shouldn't compare the two because they're too radically different. Moon River was touching and heartwrenching, but Mimi's story is touching too, and that's a powerful thing. She has a great voice, she's unique, she's flawed but she's loveable, and I think you've succeeded in making a character who pretty much every teenage girl can relate to. (And dontchya forget it! lol) Plus there are so many beautiful descriptions about life in this that I love love love to bits and I really would love to see Mimi's story carried through to the end! Just occured to me, her sister's name is Lily Lillum. Haha, that's funny, I wonder what she thinks about that. On this chapter, I liked the conversation between Seth and Mimi in the car. It was very realistic, and good to see Mimi overcoming her shyness, in a believable way. I also liked that line about Robin Roe- 'dear god, the man's a damn saint'. took the words straight from my mouth mim. haha i loved how robin was so blase about it too. yeah, i just organised a few protests, saved the world, the usual. Robin's almost too good to be true and I love him. Also loved the period/geting detention bit. Made me laugh. The Old Alas I'm Bleeding Into My Knickers, I Can't Participate in Water Activites Trick. Works every time. And if your PE teacher is some menstrual cycle tracking freak, you just tell him you have an irregular cycle, duh Mimi. But she got to go to detention and talk to Robin, so it's all good in the end. :D Some con crit about this chapter- the first part when Mimi's arguing with her sister, falling down the stairs, in hospital- those sections, were funny and well written, but somewhat random in terms of the rest of the chapter. Is the fight between Lily and Mimi important in terms of the plot, or the visit to the hospital? That was a bit unclear and seemed irrelevant. Ok, that's it from me. I always am excited to see new stuff from you, so even if you don't keep writing this story, I hope you keep writing all the same! much love blak pearl
