I think this is a GREAT story and I LOVE the format, because it really makes you think and look at it and digest the truths, the facts, and the lies. It doesn't bear skimming and that's fantastic. You have a really good hook to bring a reader into a story. I do like the characters a lot, especially how Sam is called "Doll" and how she meets a boy in the final lines. History does tend to repeat itself, doesn't it? Poor Doll. It's great that you left it there, lets the inevitable sink in. Great job! - Espantalho P.S. regarding your review: thanks for the honest input about the flow; I had trouble writing it since it was my first lemon but it obviously could have been better. I'm glad you said it didn't read like porn. PPS I will get to work on that nervous breakdown episode just for you! I've been wanting to try it but it's hard :) Thank you! |
