Even though you claim that your stories aren't that good in your profile, I think that you have quite a lot of talent. It's hard to write a story that actually makes people think, and this one does just that. It's got great details, and I really liked the Wizard of Oz references.

So, all in all, great job, and I think I'm going to go read some of your other stuff!

But, in the way of short stories, I didn't really make the main point clear. What happened is the Voice took away a part of Kara's human nature, the part of the brain that filters out all supernatural things. The part that keeps us all Sane. So, in the very end, she is now fully aware of the unnatural world around her, and she is left to either drive herself insane, or accept it.

i want more! i want to read more! gah. what'd he take? i like it a lot.
