I loved this poem. It was sweet and funny at the same time.

When we go through times of great pain, it just helps us to appreciate even more of those times of joy and happiness. A sad but touching poem.

so bitter, but i agree, relationships are pain. read "wishful thinking", i think you'll agree with it.

Tip: Don't go into a career writing hallmark cards. xD This starts off so arrogant and sturdy, and by the end the reader feels sorry for the man who is alone, and has never really shared anything unequivocally with someone special. ^-^ I love how you really evoked the feelings of the poor guy sitting in the proverbial dark thinking about his lost 'loves'.
