This is really nice. It captures a feeling of tranquility about it, which strikes me as unique.

The only thing I would make any changes to is the repetition of 'night' -- in both 'nightly' and then at the end, in 'night'. It breaks up the smoothness somewhat.

Other than that, quite brilliant XD.
