I like this, very interesting metaphors. It made me think of someone being hurt and shutting out the world, and without wanting losing all the nice things too...

That is rather pleasant. Nice thing to choose as a topic for a poem.

It's funny that we both posted haikus with the title including the word window almost at the same time! That's why I read yours...it is very well done. I like the symbolism and the flow. It's going on my favorites...keep up the good work :)
