The prologue to your story really captured my attention, especially with the imagery in the first few paragraphs. I love how Prince Ezra responded to the boy's statement about Pa wanting him to marry a pretty girl. “Mother tells me the same thing.” Very witty and unexpected. :)

The second chapter was a little confusing, but I think the mysteriousness was intentional. I wonder what Ji Lan/Ezra's mission/secret is all about. Continue soon!
