| PoertyQueen 2008-04-01 ch 3, | abuseI really hope you keep going on this one I would like to see more of it |
| Rubedo Jr. 2007-10-26 ch 3, | abuse...And now I think I've found a new tv show. it's called "They Deserve, We Deserve." You ever hear of it? I dunno when the next episode is supposed to air, but I really can't wait. See, there's this kid with this Brooklyn accent... |
| golden-flame4 2006-06-29 ch 3, | abusewow... and even more wow. Walter admitted that he's gay on TV o.o that's interesting. i wonder what's gonna happen next :P |
| Butler 2006-06-12 ch 3, anon. | abuseGo figure that the most model perfect, straight-laced of the three is also the one with the most balls. Haha, way to screw around with stereotype there, Spider. ;-) Props to Walter for just coming out with it, instead of hiding it and it being some big secret that blows up in his face later on. It was funny to see (read) Reggie and Blaze’s reactions, though – seems like Blaze was a little less taken aback by it than Reg, haha (which makes me wonder…I mean, sure, their answers to the ‘girlfriend question’ were pretty ambiguous either way, but still… A chance of either/both of them hiding anything? Hmm, hmm? Haha…or maybe I’m just assuming.) [“So…” She turned first to Reggie. “Any girls in your life, Mr. Perez?” She rolled the ‘r’, and Reggie flinched.] Haha, that was so funny when I read it because it’s just so true. People try to go all ethnic on you, and it just doesn’t work or is so stilted; it’s cool when it’s an honest endeavor to really try, but some people just do it to look cultured or intelligent. The host seems like the kind of woman who would do that and then go brag to her bigwig friends about knowing how to speak Spanish. Would have been cool if Reg whipped out some Spanish on her and watched her squirm when she floundered. I love that Reggie told the publicist that ‘one is nursing a hang-over-’ Good thing he wasn’t paparazzi. I’m interested to meet this Bryce Relmon, though – is he gonna play a big/decent-sized part in the story? And then the whole [Blaze was awful pissy on Alcohol Mondays.] was awesome. Alcohol Mondays. But I think what took the cake in the scene was [“Screw that! I need to get a **’ shower!” He hung up] the fact that Reggie hung up on the publicist. What a great first impression. Haha, I’m sure that Bryce is going to be run ragged chasing them all over and having to deal with getting hung up on and cursed at. But I think that’s just one of the parts of Reggie that makes him such a striking character. He seems like the take-charge-no-** kind of guy. [He was going to look so “Brooklyn” that his real Brooklyn friends were going to deny his existence.] That was great. The stylists are trying to dress up a guy from Brooklyn to look like a…guy from Brooklyn. Except they want the stereotype Brooklyn. Blaze is a trip. And Reggie. That scene was priceless. I have a newfound love for Walter since he’s blown away that shy character I thought he was. I can’t wait to see what will happen after his big confession, especially with the other two guys – his roommates now. Acceptance or confrontation or? Update soon? :-D |
| Skylark 2006-05-25 ch 3, anon. | abuseXD!! *hugs Walter* I love how he's their little show doll, and yet he's the one to drop the biggest bombshell of the three. *snickers* I love this. *hearts* And I love how much Reggie and Blaze were resisting wardrobe and make-up. XD Poor guys. More! Please? *puppy eyes* |
| Shadow 3013 2006-05-25 ch 3, | abuseAww. Yay Walter! I'm proud. *beams* Nice chapter. It's neat how to see how each boy reacted to his respective "makeover"/styling, and I was surprised to see how Walter acts when he isn't so incredibly nervous. I'll be looking forward to the next update. This is shaping up to be a pretty interesting story! |
| emerald raven 2006-05-25 ch 3, anon. | abusehey there honey, this is going really well - as expected, i'm loving your characters... as i always do - so keep it going ^^ ::lovez:: 'ravenx x x |
| Yoyo-chan 2006-05-25 ch 3, | abuseI did forget you had another story out. When I got it in my inbox, I didn't read it so I caught up on the first three chapters today. I'm really intrigued so far ^_^;; Your characters are really interesting (as always) and the setup was pretty cool. I love how they all went in the bathroom to fix Blaze's shirt before the ceremony. (Also aren't Skylark and Maderr great? I can't ever say enough about them. I feel like I've known them forever :P) |
| Jeoal 2006-05-23 ch 2, | abuseI feel really stupid for this being so late, so let me see if I can make it extra long/decent to make up for it. All righty. So right off the bat I’m really interested in what kind of plot you’re going to develop with this story (I said that last review, and I mean it even more now). Seriously, I’m dying to know what sort of spin you’ll put to these guys being representatives for this (as of now) mysterious Werolife Industries. What kind of business is that? A commerce/economic business? A research facility (I’m leaning toward this)? You know, no matter what else I think of while reading this story, I still come back to them turning into researchers and finding out Werolife’s/the government’s up to some shady stuff. Or something equally as sci-fi-ish. Haha, I don’t know why. I guess I’m just on a supernatural kick lately (blame me reading ‘The War of the Worlds’ this weekend). It’s weird that I’m jumping to that, even as you’ve clearly written [“These three teens, who have impressed us so much, will each receive the title of Youth Representative for Werolife Industries. They will fight for their cause, and use their skill and creativity to help our nation and all those in need.” / “And the opportunity to travel the globe, meet celebrities, and spread their message around the world.”] Unless helping the nation and all those in need means protecting the world against some aliens, I don’t see any sci-fi in there. XD Haha. I’ll have to stop putting my harebrain ideas out in writing and just sit back, watch you work your magic. ;-) (maybe put me out of my misery while you’re at it) I like how you’ve subtly introduced new characters without making them into their own people yet. They’re still just names. Like Gabby – she’s clearly a part of Blaze’s life (enough for him to worry about her, while he’s up on stage waiting to see if he’s been picked or not) but she’s not got a face to her name yet. She’s his sister and he saved her, but what’s her role going to be overall? That’s what I’m wondering right now. (as well as Becca Henderson - I'm thinking she's the student who was assaulted by Larburt?) [There he was, the frizzy-haired Spanish kid. Tripping over his own feet, eyes wide, completely shocked. Almost dismayed.] Hmm. So Reggie, who already seems like he’s got a level head on his shoulder has something going on that’s a little off. Instead of this being the happiest moment of his life, he’s got a split second of dismay. I wonder why. You’ve got my interest peaked. (nothing out of the ordinary there, right? ;-p) [Shaking, he stepped one foot in front of the other as though he’d never done so before. Blaze wondered what would happen if the guy puked on stage.] Horrible image there, but I often wonder that myself. It’s insane to be up on stage. It’s amazing more people don’t run off/get sick because of the nerves. [“Walter Riley is a senior, from St. Peter’s Boy’s College Preparatory Academy, in Northeast Philadelphia.] I love that he’s the oldest but doesn’t act like it. The most nerve-wracked of the three and the one who seems most naïve. But then, we haven’t really gotten to know them yet, so maybe that’s a rash assumption on my part. ;-) All of the boys are amazing. I’m sitting here reading about their community acts and wow, impressive (I’m wondering if you took any of those from your own experience, because I know how involved you are!). I was thinking about how hard it would be to rid my school of the drug problems it has, and anyone who can do that…wow, I would bow to them because that’s no easy feat (and it’d probably be a death sentence, considering how many druggies/dealers would be absolutely ***). It’s crazy that Walter, of all people, was the one to do that. The way he’s been portrayed so far doesn’t automatically match up with someone who’d bust a drug problem, which makes me wonder what kind of person he is. I can’t wait to see you develop his character more, in the coming chapters. [Kicking open the door of the suite, Reggie’s heart gradually began to crawl back to its normal pace.] Why does it fit so well that he’d kick the door open? :-D Haha. [And Blaze. The red-head with the Brooklyn accent.] I didn’t think about it last chapter, but I really like the irony/coincidence in the color of Blaze’s hair and his name. ;-) I like the way you introduced the hotel. Not only is it a real nice place, but it’s connected to their new company/affiliate, Werolife. This company’s going to permeate everything in their lives now, isn’t it? For the good or the bad of it all, though? (or maybe I’m getting too suspicious of a part of the story that’s not even going to be that big anyway) So we learn a little more about Reggie’s good deed. Oh how Mr. Larburt really sucks. Even his name sounds douchebag-ish. Keep updating this. And soon. ;-) Otherwise, I might turn it into some lame sci-fi not even fit for the Sci-Fi Channel. That, my friend, would not be pretty. At all. |
| emerald raven 2006-05-06 ch 2, | abusethis is shaping up to be really god, i like the main characters, definate potential =P once again m'falling in love with your work so keep it up hon ::lovez:: 'raven |
| Serialcode A 2006-05-05 ch 2, | abuseOKAY I SWEAR TO GOD I REVIEWED THIS. GODDAMNIT. Okay. I love this. It's... it's love. It's JUST PLAIN LOVE GOSHDANGIT. I love the characters, I love how it was set up. I love the length of the chapters: short, but not SO short that it's annoying as hell. I like the story, and the slowly SLOWLY creeping plot. I like it all. Damnit, I'm like, a ** walking praise machine. Either way. One thing though... the flashback? I think the formatting got messed up. It isn't all italicized and that made it a bit awkward until I realized "Oh. Right. Flashback," and kept reading. You know? But really. Minor mistake and a major pool of awesome. You rock. |
| Jeoal 2006-04-30 ch 1, | abuseDon’t get angry? DON’T get angry?! Oh— All right. Since you dedicated, what, a third of this to me. ;-p (I’m pretty sure I’m lucky too, for the same reason) I remember Reggie from something you wrote a while back – or I think it was the same Reggie? And, if I’m right, I said something about him being my favorite in the scene or second favorite, something like that. I’d go back and make a search for it, but I’m hoping you know what the hell I’m going on about, anyway. ;-) I really like his setup in this, too. The fact that he’s sort of the antagonize-r already is pretty awesome, especially since you can really see how uncomfortable he makes the other characters – and how much he enjoys doing it (case in point: [Blinking with all the acting skills he had, he feigned a look of complete shock. “You’re Walter? Damn, Dude, I read your bio. You’re a **’ shoe-in!”] Priceless tactic there.) He seems like the kind of guy who would be amazing at chess or some other strategy game (perhaps Risk? ;-p), and I’m interested to see if this story will sort of be a chess match, as far as characters and situations and things are concerned. Oh you and your twists. Haha. Not sure what to think about little ol’ Walter right now, except that he’s very, very nervous. I hope he doesn’t screw up because he seems like a genuine sort of guy, just there to do what he has to do and be great at it. (And I’m thinking he will, since the perfect number is three and oh, there are, well, look at that, three boys in this beginning chapter. ;-D What a coincidence! Haha) It’s awesome that the redhead is introduced with the phrase ‘A loud Brooklyn accent’ because that just sets up so many images (err…maybe ‘stereotypes’ is the better word here). And then his suit’s brown with a green tie – how cute. :-) Can’t go wrong with a green tie, that’s for sure. And the fact that you threw all three of them together so soon into the story really has me interested – sort of foreshadowing to a potential friendship or something like it? Not sure. I’m just spouting lame observations here. ;-p Something about the way Reggie and Walter just automatically helped the guy and were all over his suit, buttoning things and drying the shirt off was a funny picture. If I’d been that guy from Brooklyn, I’d probably be like ‘Hey, whoa, watch the hands!’ [A hand came down ** his shoulder, sending a thundering shock down his spine. He whipped around to spot Reggie heading for his spot, looking over his shoulder with a roguish smirk on his face. ‘Gotcha…’ For a fleeting second, stage-fright felt hilarious. And the redheaded boy looked relieved. And Reggie Perez didn't make him feel so uneasy.] I love the way that passage makes the introduction/prologue so realistic and so ‘on’ – even I’m a little tense right now, just waiting to see what happens to these guys. And then, of course, you follow up with a killer ending sentence: [Then Reggie wasn’t looking at him anymore. And the redhead was fidgeting with his tie. And the curtain rose.], which just sets the tone perfectly. I definitely need to see more of this, if only so that I can know what the hell is going to happen. Haha. The [who will work for our organization, to build the dreams of a nation…”] has so many possibilities to it. (I won’t embarrass myself by saying what I think, but…yeah. Color me interested.) :-D Update whenever. Great luck with school and everything (just think, summer’s only a few weeks away!). |
| Kimagure 2006-04-29 ch 1, | abuseHee!! *tackle glomps* Any story from you is good story. ;3 But that said, I love this! *twirls you about* Poor Walter. I feel his anxiety. And I kinda want to kick Reggie a little for stirring him up, even if I can totally understand how that might be fun and really, really easy to do. ;3 I love his nervousness and I love how you put that up against Reggie's calm and careless attitude. Eiie! Want to know more about the redheaded boy! *puppy eyes* ^__^ I love your characters. *hearts* So, so much. Eie! I look forward to seeing the next part. ^_^ *tackle glomps* |
| xanthofile 2006-04-28 ch 1, | abusedon't know how you could better this all that much. seems just fine the way it is! *not joking, no* |
| Shadow 3013 2006-04-28 ch 1, | abuseVery interesting first chapter. The setup is unique, which is nice to see. There's no "OMG what a cute guy, oh no, I must be gay!1!!", which is also -very- nice. Essentially, this means that I really like this story so far, and eagerly await the next update. *smiles* |
