This poem was sad! I liked it a lot, but you're normally such a happy person, and this was really dark. It's really cool, though; somehow it reminds me of the short story "The Ones Who Walked Away From Omelas". I liked the way you tied everything up with finality so we knew that the way of her existence would never change until her death. Although it does make me wonder what her previous life was like. Hm... maybe you could tell us something more about her...(hint,hint) :-) Keep writing! ~Tatharwen Took~
