I'm inclined to agree that Legally Blonde 2 is not a very credible source for such a monumental issue.But it's fabulous that you feel so strongly on the subject; you bring up some good points, and your essay is well-organized.

Since the matter seems to mean something to you, you should consider writing one on vegetarianism/veganism. There are a number of excellent resources out there on the subject, and I think you could pull it off rather well. Either way, keep up the good work!

Let's hope you never need medical care, since you'd be hard-pressed to find a medical remedy whose creation wasn't partially due to animal testing.

Also, you think that veterinarians don't use the information gained from animal testing? Animal testing saves animal lives as well.

As for your recommendation that we use humans for medical testing? Who do we use? Lottery? Are you willing to give your life for medical testing? Didn't think so.

Finally, Legally Blonde 2 isn't my idea of a respectable source. Nor is an extremist group like PETA.

You should write an essay about being vegan or vegetarian.

One thing: you didn't talk about these "alternatives" to animal testing. Pursuasive essays should have both sides. Enquiring minds want to know!
