I really like this, because you're right; people usually don't want to hear that somebody has died. I know from various personal experiences. However, I personally would prefer to know, so that I can move on, and get over it. Denial just makes it worse. Good poem! Keep it up!

It's simply worded yet has very strong emotion in it. The idea of the narrator not wanting to hear that a person's dead, it's quite deep. I liked it a lot. Good job.
