fabulously lush language throughout. i especially liked night crushing the warm, light colors out, and the quality of fierceness in the silence.

also, the whole passage start with "Just white"--i LOVED that, its starkness and hard edges!

just fyi... there's a typo on the 13th line: "Avelvet" s/b "A velvet"
