| a Cornucopia of Love 2006-05-05 ch 1, | First of all, I love the beginning about the desks. I know how you feel! We have those same stupid desks and I hate them! You can't even push your freaking chair in, and when you try to climb over them, sometimes you miss and smack yourself on that freaking bar. And that bar is always stone-cold. But I like the writing I see on my desks, though. Sometimes if you write back, the kids in the other classes will communicate with you and I find that awesome! And secondly, this piece is so sad!! It got me thinking about my own lost relatives and the frailty of life. And then the second-to-last paragraph and the last sentence just totally made me want to lose it. Good job. I can feel your pain (not as much as you can, but you know what I mean!). I'm sorry!! Losing someone that close to you really (to put it blatantly) sucks... Of course you'll miss him. He's lived a good life and he's ready to move on. You'll see him again someday... |
