M, this has such a nice feel to it. You just know how to write this fast-paced, heart beating like crazy, head over heels type of piece, and it was wonderful to read. I love the stanza starting with "and her with liquid arms." Everything is so fluid in that stanza, and you've managed to connect so many different images to each other. Great job. Keep writing! :)

last two verses shine especially, and i love the movement from beginning to end of a kind of heavy-eyed soul-tired lost girl to light, balance, and understanding

I think - bear with me - I think it's the way you think that fascinates me the most. Your ideas, your perceptions, your choice of words are all so different to what mine would be on the same topic, it all feels quite surreal.

Very nice..it's really blinding..kinda hazy sort of summer feel. I loved the lines "sending prayers in the fluid strokes". So pretty. And the part about trees w/ broken teeth reminds me of Death Cab for Cutie. ^_^ Keep it up!

o so prettyful, i heart it times ten and i adore the image of cradling the sun like a baby and that whole stanza, so gorgeous and oddly soothing, especially calming in the tense quiet fear that shows up randomly in parts of the poem, beautifully done
