wow. very stark and sharp. it reminded me of the film 'requiem for a dream'. very bleak. the only part i would change is the slash in 'bare/naked'. i guess if it's stylistic you shouldn't change it but i found it distracting. lovely work!

i like this a lot. i got that sunken, heat-breaking feeling in me when i finished reading this. it makes me want to take the guy and rock him in my arms until he melts away into some alternate dream universe. this world's too harsh for most of us. it makes us choose when we don't want to.
