This is wonderfully written. You made the characters really believable, especially Jay and Lauren. I liked the opening sentence as well, I thought that it really captured the mood. It's also nice that you keep up to date on current events and write about important topics that people need to know about.

By the way, does your band have any CDs, EPs, or downloads yet? I really liked the lyrics you wrote for your power anthem, I'd like to hear them to music!

Wow, good start to this story. I love what you've done, and you wrote it so fast! The Bird Flu is a very real thing that effects people in other countries every day.
