Oh my. That was so sad. *tears up* Nicely written. The flashbacks were just so sad. I always have those flashbacks too. Nice short story, I liked it.

AW! So sad... *cries* Now I'm all depressed. *sighs* I'll get over it. This was a good short story; I liked it a lot. There isn't anything I think you'd need to change except perhaps use more figurative language. Apart from that, it was great.

Very sad. I like the last two lines, though a little more emotion in Brendan would help the ending feel a little more real. Still, nicely written.
