Perfection is whatever you want it to be. If you can't fly, I recommend crawling.

I don't like the use of parentheses in poetry; there are other ways to achieve a similar effect with different formatting.

Interesting poem. Reminded me of an angel, and (in my mind), angels are sort of like images of perfection, so liked how you kind of made me rethink that. The phrases in the parentheses added to the poem (it added a little irony... well, that's what I think anyway) :)
