This is the sort of thing that keeps me awake at night worrying where the line between poetry and prose is. I liked them a lot, particularly this chapter because I always imagine San Francisco as a very sunny place, (i've always wanted to go, not particularly for the weather though) so it's interesting to see what it's really like. They all conjure up very clear images. I've never tried writing in this style myself but I imagine that it would be difficult to keep to the clear images and good word choice without going off on a ramble (for want of a better technical term.)

I love your style. It might help that I'm a San Franciscan, born and bred, but I can really see the scenes your words create. Beautiful. Keep it up. :)

Now this is writing, very nice work. I can see it now, just sprinkle a lil of this here and there, and then all you'll need to do is add in some lively characters and think up a plot and you got yourself a kickass story.

I'll be looking foward to it.
