The Postscript 2007-12-21 . chapter 8Really great! I especially liked the last stanza and the serene, almost pastoral scene you contrast the rest of the poem with in the middle. Nice work - keep writing, k. |
The Postscript 2007-05-25 . chapter 7Wonderful - especially the contradiction throughout about old versus new. Beautiful, intriguging start. "What's the matter by dying for the soil we love?" Amazing. There are so many lines in your poetry that would hold power simply by themselves .. but when you combine so many together it takes my breath away .. makes me think deeper about life. You have such talent! Thank you for sharing your writing! k. |
The Postscript 2006-08-28 . chapter 6Wonderful, I especially enjoyed the beginning of this. Your words are not just intense, they have something behind them supporting them ... letting them live. Amazing work. I really love your style - never let that go. Keep writing, s. |
M00n5h4d0w 2006-08-28 . chapter 1i read the first poem. cool! there's alot of representations there, nicely done. |
The Postscript 2006-08-25 . chapter 5Wonderful stories and images themself. The beginning sort of reminded me of an article I read about a student who traveled to the middle east to make a difference, but appeared so innocent to other reporters that she had to sort of prove she was a one-woman human rights crusader. Though she died in a suicide bomb at age 28, she helped many war victims recieve official help and aid and made a difference in many peoples lives.
Though your poem sort of, later, strays from that idea, I enjoyed it none the less. My one suggestion would to break this up into smaller pieces, simply to make it easier to read. Other than that, you paint an inticrate picture that leaves me breathless. Wonderful. Keep writing, s. |
The Postscript 2006-06-07 . chapter 4Wonderful. I especially love the italisized. Keep writing. |
The Postscript 2006-06-07 . chapter 3Amazing images. I love the way you tell a story in this but really capture your subject as well. It's interesting because in German, the word for 'history' and 'story' are the same. You clearly reiterate that. Wonderful job. Keep writing. |
