Wonderful and insightful poem. That part - "I whisper a prayer" sort of reminds me of Romeo and Juliet when Juliet's nurse turns on her and Juliet responds 'Amen' as if her nurse had whispered a curse. Great job with this. Keep writing, s.

This trend of liking your style continues. You have a great way of saying a lot without suffocating the reader with detail. Sometimes it's a little confusing, but most of the time, all poetry is. So, once again: Great job.

So good! I know, really descriptive. But this was amazing! The last lines really brought this to my attention. I like how you really did keep it "simple"- the language wasn't excessively flowery or difficult, and the imagery was sparse, but that's what it was all about. I like this. Keep writin'! bella
