elvenstorm 2006-06-07 . chapter 1Again beautiful, just loved all your descriptions and choice of words was perfect. Think the last verse was favourite thanks to the line 'swirling eddies of faith'. Just perfect well done x |
Wings of Fire 2006-05-29 . chapter 1 I think I get it now! I love your choice of words (sheen). I suppose your vocabulary expands when you get older, and you don't have to spend hours on end trying to think of the right word (like I do.) I had to look some of the words like eddy (a small whirpool) up in Word because I didn't know what it meant, but NOW I do. I really really like how you write because now I understand mostly everything! |
mist laden 2006-05-23 . chapter 1so far, my favorite poem of yours.
i loved, "I can spread myself under the blue/smooth the cracks/ and take in the great immensity above." that's fresh.
you need to continue writing mate. This is "solid". (love the slang or what?) |
thepurplemouse 2006-05-22 . chapter 1ooh! i do so love your poems. my favorite word in this poem is "eddies". it's just such a good word!!
wonderful ending, and just lovely composition overall. i liked the...what's the word...PROSE. i think that's the word i was trying to think of...
anyway, great job! i like the subject matter, too...reminds me of my surrealism project.
ooh, another great line: "the dark of an ocean/captured in the lucidity of asphalt". sigh...it's just great.
write more! post more!
(and if you have the time, please review my things, too...thanks, shurn!) |
iamthe-loris 2006-05-19 . chapter 1oh this was so pretty. very vivid images/emotions/pretty much everything. i loved the line "reflecting through a thin sheen of water", i really like the word sheen. good imagery. i love it whenever you put your poems up here, you should submit them to phantas (give them something to read, for once)! keep up the great poeming,
