It sits well but you could do with keeping an eye on the syllable count for each line-lines 1 and 3 for each stanza need to be longer than lines 2 and 4 to maintain a consistent rhythm but in a few instances this doesn't happen. Also, if she's his wife why is it forbidden love? O.o

Wonderful, I love how this sums up all the romantic fairy tale stereotypes so powerfully. I know someone who will love this I'll recommend it to her.
