That being said, your writing is absolutely amazing- there's no other way to put it. And also, you make me jealous. Dear God, you're my age and you're up there on my list of favorite authors. But I guess I can learn to live with that. So basically, thank you and please write some more.
holly 2008-06-18 ch 20, anon.	abuseI read this story a couple of days ago and didn't have time to review then, but I loved it. I stayed up til one in the morning to finish it. Its one of the only stories on fictionpress that I could bring myself to read front to end. I usually stop half way through out of boredom or because the stores aren't well written, or the characters are annoying. This story, however, has great characters that actually have depth. I love how the story progresses. The only criticism I have is about the character of Andrew. He seems to change constantly and have a completely different personality everytime he's mentioned. One time he's really popular and has a lot of friends. The next, he seems to only have Jack as a friend. Just wanted to let you know that got kind of confusing. Other that, great job. Loved it. :)

The characters' behaviors n thoughts are very well expressed, and make the fic very nice to read. So, thanks for letting me read such a nice fic, and keep it up =p

For the slow-burning realism, the brilliant characterisation, the witty dialogue, and most of all, for completely turning all eye-rollingly typical romantic cliches up on their heads - I applaud you. No fireworks, no drama, no Hollywood cheese. ...That's amore. ^_~

The people are quirky and believable, very genuine, and the plot...I love the way you deviated from the standard boy-wins-bet-and-girl-doesn't-mind, and even from the still-predictable "bet, 'end' to bet, girl finds out bet never ended, fight, make up, love/perfection, wins bet to girl's satisfaction."

Maybe whispering with her head tipped near him, so he could see her lips? It caught me off-guard! Sorry I haven't been reviewing. But, let me just say that it's a refreshingly real, simple, and likeable story with great characters.

Piper and Donovan are the type of friends that will never lose each other. And I absolutely adore the ending, especially the epilogue. Nicely written. Congrats, though I'm two years late!
