Hm. I love the story. It was somewhat hard to follow in places as I was reading through it, but in the end I got the overall picture...and liked it.

Just work a bit on clarity...you just kind of threw things out there without any prelude. And a line or something to divide the epilogue, or perhaps even that word in there would've been great-- the place where it goes to her thoughts.

But as I said, I did love the story. Could connect to it in some ways even. So that's always a good thing when you can draw others' memories out and play with them. =)

(I do wonder, Jade, why you only have one story posted- and it's today- when you've been a member since 2003...if it's even any of my business! Being relatively new myself, only since February...maybe you reached an ungodly limit in all that time, and had to start over? Just guessing, of course.)

Okay, time to get back to my reality...

This was SO beautiful! It really touched "that place". Sounds soppy, but it did. I especially liked the line "You can fly across spaces with no bridges. For instance...the one between the world...and my heart" The idea of wings was brilliant. Great work!
